Would you date (long-term) a female police officer?

Assuming you can leave the premises of your basement and don't die from tetanus after shaving the neckbeard with rusty blade, would you date a female police officer?

Things to consider: She will be partenered up with a male cop with whom she'll be inside a patrol car 40+ hours per week

Dating any cop is bad news. Too much domestic violence, PTSD, depression, alcoholism, criminal activity, etc. etc.

Most beat cops and detectives I know are fucking up big time in their personal life. Now administrators, like a division captain or police chiefs, which I've known a few of, they seem to manage some of it better.

But in general, I'd never subject myself or family to that kind of life. Dating a cop is just as bad as dating a drug dealer, for sheer drama and risk of violence.

Nope. Honestly, I wouldn't date anyone closely related to a police officer either. Probably being a bit paranoid, but there are more than enough women out there not connected to law enforcement to avoid having to. Mixing emotions and sex, with the potential for retribution, I'm good on that. I just prefer to stay as far away from them until needed...and I'm a model citizen.
