Would you become an adult film actor?

Male talent in porn make peanuts in comparison to the female talent. You don't become contract stars like the female, you're basically getting paid on a per movie basis. Women can probably film one or two movies a month and be making good money, male talent I assume has to basically work 4-5 days a week. There is a reason that you see the same couple of male actors in basically every movie, well that and you're not paying attention to the guy so you can get away with using the same guys more often.

I like the idea. But realistically my ego's way too fragile. Wouldn't matter how many chicks I was banging, all it'd take is someone on set pulling me aside like 'Listen, buddy, you gotta bleach your asshole, that shit's a mess' and it'd crush my self-esteem. I'd be terrified of the camera.
 
Too much work , wasn't worth it for the pay .

True story: I was having lunch with a couple of professors when I was in grad school. The were telling a story about how they were set to hire some guy to a non-tenure track contract. Long story short, they did some internet detective work and found out he was in some porn. Needless to say, he was never hired.

Wesley Pipes mentioned this in Anal Goliath 6. Thought it was racially motivated, although admittedly he'd lied about his qualifications. I came away hoping that ultimately he'd take it as a lesson in honesty, and realize that using racism as a defense mechanism is only isolating him from larger society. Only time will tell.
 
this day in age, is there really a need to go into pro porn? If you have a hot enough girlfriend and a webcam, you can probably pull more through users annually than you would on salary in pro porn.
