Would UFC fighters not flinch in a haunted house because of anti-flinching training?

Bas Rutten shows here that MMA fighters train specifically to quell the flinch response

Exhibit A:

What do you think? I think reacting to sound would be different than reacting to punches but they would still flinch 90% less than average person.

this question is so ridiculous that I actually want to know the answer to it.

Flinching is a good thing. It means they can react to an opponent's movement quick enough. Not moving is how you get KOd.

The only people who freak out in those are people who want to.

TS, posts like these are what keep me coming back to Sherdog.

Thank you.

Yeah getting rid of an automatic reflex is a great idea. Next time something hits you in the face just let it destroy your eyeball instead of flinching and closing your eye

But these are the types of cutting-edge training techniques that have allowed head coach Bas Rutten and his gym to turn out multiple world champion MMA fighters.

Oh wait...

Muhammad Ali almost had a heart attack over a jump scare on a TV show. So i would say yes
