I just find it interesting that the two guys fighting on fight pass would (in my opinion) beat the main eventants.

I agree that Almeida and Garbrant should headline because that's the more exciting fight

Ouch , Fight Pass , sterling deserves better and would favour him over both main event participants, don't like Mr. Tate , but I think his experience gives him a decent shot to bear all 3 , although I would slightly favour each of his opponents. I think stopping power Garbanddt and Almeida are better but overall I see Sterling as the quickest and most complete in this group.

I don't like Almeida's chances against Sterling. Dude may be a champ in the coming years.

Caraway can beat Cody. I'm sure there'd be some sort of imagined bad blood on Cody's part.

Cody became a pro in 2012 i believe. He beat 3 men in the octagon. 2 don't have a wiki page and 1 was Brimage.

I just feel like Tate would dominate him. Don't like him either btw.

Sterling could beat Almeida possibly, but there's no way Caraway beats Garbrandt, Sterlings striking is bad but Almeida doesn't have a wrestling past like Garbrandt, Caraway has some of the most atrocious striking I've ever seen.

As i said, Garbrandt hasn't beat anybody of note, and he's had just 8 fights.

Bryan's UFC record is kinda impressive if you take a look at it.

Yeah his striking isn't good but he outstruck Eddie Wineland.

Eddie Wineland who was just coming back from a broken jaw, Caraway has atrocious striking and refuses to evolve. Garbrandt hasn't beaten anybody of note but that doesn't mean he can't beat anybody of note.

Almeida would brutalize Sterling. Caraway-Garbrandt is 60/40 in favour of Caraway to me due to Caraway's toughness, Garbrandt willing to pick his shots (which means that Caraway can outpoint him) and Caraway's ground game which should make Garbrandt reluctant to shoot.

I think Garbs would probably beat Caraway
And Almeida might beat Sterling

This is an interesting question tho

One of your better threads man, quite an interesting question you posed. Hard for me to say honestly.

Lol idk if this is trolling or just utter lack MMA knowledge...

Sterling is a guy who's been fed unathletic guys with no ground games.

Caraway is an unathletic guy with limited striking and a poor gas tank.

What's the ONE common factor both Caraway and Sterling have? Both have pedestrian striking and ZERO KO power lol...

Almeida and Garbrandt would eat either guy alive.

But Caraway has a very high submission rate. And that can be more than enough, in MMA. Not in boxing, I agree with you.

Sterling will be able to hang with Caraway on the mat, Caraway couldn't sub Mizugaki, not saying that's why Sterling will win but he should win.

+ he was KO'd stiff and has 2 amateur MMA losses.

Yup... Sterling and Caraway is a higher profile fight than Almeida and Cody.

I think Sterling beat them all.

The problem with Sterling is that he struggles in exchanges...and when he faces fighters with decent hands and good defensive wrestling he may have a problem

Although if forced to I'd put my money on him vs the other 3... Almeida, Sterlin and Mr Tate already have wins over good fighters in their division. He's take Garbrandt most likely and also probably submit Almeida. I think stylistically Mr Tate is the toughest matchup of the 3.

If you say so, I believe you.

Sterling will be a future champ.

Well it isn't me saying so, just go and look at their fights. I'm not like you, I don't expect everybody to bend to whatever I say and then make it their own opinion. Just saying there's nothing to suggest Sterling can't hang with Caraway on the mat or even beat him there.
