Would Rin Nakai have been able to take Holly to the ground?

Tate fought both Rin Nakai and Holly Holm.

In a way, Tate's strategy against Holm looked similar to Rin's strategy against Tate.
Rin even had two choke attempts from Tate's back.

In Tate vs Rin, Rin was patient and going for takedowns all day with limited success against Tate.

If Rin fought Holly, would Holly have been able to tag her from a distance, assert her reach advantage, use evasive footwork, and stuff all takedown attempts?

Or would Rin's constant takedown attempts eventually succeed?

Before the Tate fight, I would have laughed at the idea of Rin having any chance.
But from last night, it seemed that Holly is inexperienced and fearful on the ground.
I never expected her ground game to be so underdeveloped.

Yes. And i think Miesha might even be in her prime now. It would be really satisfying if she could beat Ronda.
I hope Rin has improved just as much as Miesha. Leslie Smith has very aggressive striking. Rin can't really trade shots with her.
