Would regular American approved this bbq?

They take any foreign food and upscale it.

Not only did they not invent the rotating tray BBQ, it's so common you can buy one for a consumer grill.

In terms of upscaling the largest BBQ I''m aware of is from TX and does about 8000 lbs at at time.

Still... I'd love to try a Korean spin on American style BBQ.
 
I was pretty excited to try Korean BBQ when a place opened up here, but I was very disappointed. It was overpriced, dry, and almost flavorless. I know it was probably a poor example, but I didn't see even a glimmer of something hidden in the cuisine. I will look up a different place and perhaps report back.
