Would Mcgregor-Masvidal In Summer 2020 Have Been The Biggest MMA PPV Of All Time?

In an MMA fight, Masvidal has a 98% chance of eliminating McGregor.

The only reason why I would've wanted to watch Masvidal vs. McGregor is to add even more blemishes and defeats to McGregor's record in MMA fights.

Jorge did like 1.5 million against a unknown (to casuals) usman. Conor did about the same against and Dustin. It easily could have hit 2.5 million buys

Conor had the hype back again and Mas was on top of the world coming off the Nate fight.

Usman and Porier both played spoiler to one of the biggest missed opportunities the UFC ever had. The trash talk and build-up would've been legendary. I think it would've broke Mcgregor-Khabib's record in PPV buys.

Why would McGregor want Masvidal to murder him? It seems like McGregor and his businesses are doing well.

If McGregor dies, he would have to hope that his family keeps controlling his businesses wisely and well.

that why conor wanted no part of jorge.

plus conor wasnt fighting in the covid 19 time fights were put on. the ufc wasnt losing a huge gate from a conor fight. notice he returned when fans were back in the arena even if it was overseas not in vegas.
 
He was getting beat up by Dustin both times - what would he do against Mas who bigger, meaner version of dustin?

even the bald father knew his cash cow would have been over his head and would have been a lamb.

And before anyone say's Usman - shut the fuck up. The threat of the takedown and jorge not respecting a large, explosive and improving fighter to the point he was clowning around with his hands down is what lead to that KO.

there is no threat of takedown with conor it would straight up stand up and conor has nothing for mas.

mas isnt that good, at all dont forget that. however size is certainly a thing. and xonnor struggles with even the lower weightclass

I actually think it would beat McGregor Khabib if they did it on the debut of fight island with that card. I think people forget how much momentum Masvidal had after the Diaz fight. For a good half year he was the 2nd biggest PPV draw in the UFC.

He did 1.3 million against Usman. Let's just say he brought in 700,000 buys for that. Fight island would bring in 100,000. No other sports during that time brings in maybe 200,000. So without McGregor's name, there would be a base of 1 million PPV buys already. Conor did 1.3 vs Cerrone with no undercard essentially. After that win and momentum, he would easily bring 1.5-1.8 million buys for his next fight.

1 million + 1.5-1.8 million = 2.5-2.8 million. Sounds unrealistic, but with the momentum, fight island, no sports, two massive names, and promotion, I think it'd break the record.

With that being said, if they did McGregor Khabib 2 after the Cerrone fight on fight island, it would be bigger than both Masvidal McGregor & Khabib McGregor 1
 
Masvidal Colby if marketed correctly would do more than Connor masvidal today.

I don't think Mas is that good, but more than enough to eliminate Conor. Even if Conor touches Mas for a round, Jorge can take those shots, tighten his defense and pour it on. TKO by the end of R2 or R3. It won't even go to a 4th, IMHO.

All of the McGregor fans are delusional. The 2020 iteration of Masvidal absolutely murders the 2020 iteration of McGregor.

The 2021 iteration of Masvidal definitely murders the 2021 iteration of McGregor.
 
Jorge beats ANY version of Conor.

Conor was a 45 manlet bully. Isn’t a top 5 at 55. Top 15 for sure, but masvidal owns his soul.
