Would it be a bad idea for Lawler to challenge Bisbing at 185?

Probably, but I think Bisbing is an easier challenge than anyone else in the top five would be.

Robbie has never belonged at 185. Bisping would make him look silly.

Definitely plenty of business at 170, I just think it's a great opportunity because it's the best matchup he could find at 185. Gotta get through Woodley first though, plenty of work yet to be done.

If there was ever a time for Lawler to try and get two belts, it would be now. I still think Bisping picks him apart.

Bisping 1,2, 5

Bisping reminds him why he cuts all that weight

I don't mind Lawlers chances in that fight tbh.

Yeah, that's a good match up for Lawler, honestly. Best title fight he could have at 185. Especially with an aging Bisping, this would be Lawler's best shot at 2 belts.

He beat pre usada hendrix, rory and condit. Bisping is the first british champ. I think this superfight makes sense

There is business to conduct at WW. The defence, then the fight against Rory/Wonderboy. Carlos deserves a re-match. Assuming Lawler wins this next fight.

No I don't like that idea much at all. If they want to do it after Lawler loses the belt. Then go right ahead.

This whole "champs gotta move up" nonsense is just that...nonsense.

Stay and fight where you can reasonably make weight and win.

That's how legends and legacies are born.

I think it would unfortunately end like a lot of Lawler's fights at middleweight - losing a decision

lawler did ok at 185 but his resurgence at 170 has been fucking epic so id like to see him continue rather than pursuong superfights

Lawler takes bisping's soul.

If Bisping still has the strap, and Lawler beats T-Wood(I'd think TKO), then, sure unless Wonderboy hammers out Rory, then he should clean that up and if he is still champ, and Bisping is, sure... I'd be on board and it would probably be a good fight... I'd side with Bisping while rooting for Robbie but I'd be on board.
