What do you mean excuse? The guy has more in ring experience than anyone in the business and is a legit threat, because he's literally seen it all. You can't suprise Herb Dean in the ring and that is a HUGE mental advantage. True champions take on all comers and are able to fight more diverse challengers than just the run of the mill contenders that UFC champs face.
