Would Cain have been a transitional champion if DC stayed at heavyweight?

I shouldn't even have to ask this question. DC would SMASH Cain. It's not even a contest.

DC is on a whole nother level. He is in a completely different stratosphere from Cain and all the other heavyweights and light-heavyweights. DC's wrestling is much more technical than Cain's. His striking is better and has that 2 hit KO power. Cain needs a barrage and DC has a granite chin. Cain is really not much bigger than DC. DC would piledrive Cain Josh Barnett style. Daniel Cormier is who everyone imagine Fedor could be, except Cormier is the real deal.

Cain cannot bully DC. The only person that can bully DC around is Jon Jones, who is a fighting GOD. I seriously think its a travesty that DC had to fight at light-heavyweight because of being buddy buddy with Cain. He could of been undefeated at heavyweight.

He is undefeated at heavyweight.

I agree but it's all speculation since we'll never see what Cain's career could have been like.

People forget what a beast Velasquez is, and as previously stated... he is undefeated at heavyweight.

Cain Velasquez's career defining wins are 2/3 with JDS.

JDS is not looking so great in retrospect. The person that TKOed JDS in round 1 got SMASHED by DC in round 1.

The JDS that got finished in the first round isn’t the same JDS that fought Cain. It’s not even the same JDS thatfoght Stipe the first time.
