brock is not a real fighter. of course you have the injury machine in your avatar. you need to pretend brock is elite so you can clame that ´prime cain´would beat stipe. Brock looked the same in overeem fight he nearly got 1 takedown but gave up when ubereem tried the guillotine, another takedown was prevented by a huge body kick and knee. Even if he got takendown ubereem was 20lbs heavier and much stronger than today overeem who has no chin maybe injure his knee and is weaker.

Cain isn't Ubereem. Brock knew what Overeem was about and it clearly had him shook. he was so afraid of Overeem's knees that's why he never committed to the takedown.

Brock could've beaten him in that fight had he recognized that Overeem didn't respect his striking prowess whatsoever, the problem was Overeem was correct in his assessment because Brock didn't have it in him to fire back with any kind of conviction. the one strike he did throw was a half hearted slap and it cut Reem.
