Dude got gifted a title shot against Cruz. All he's managed to do since getting owned by Barao for the 2nd time was get beat by Rivera for the first 7 minutes before cheating with the most blatant eye poke in MMA history, get schooled by Edgar, and barely skim past Saenz. The fact the he's talking about a title shot at FW is hilarious.

Cruz is gonna school him.

Wouldn't be surprised if he gets the fight anyways after Diaz schools Conor again and then Frankie does as well. Conor will be in need of an easy win after that.

It's not always boring but usually it is. GSP always comes to mind or the recent Hendricks fights....I understand a fighter using his strengths to win but I prefer not to watch the wrestler style fighting...That's why Conor is always fun to watch, he wants to make it a street fight...That's why Nate vs. Conor is epic...Streetfighter style!.....That's why everyone wants to watch Robbie vs. Nick...Those are the exciting fights.

I've come to a point where I can't stand any wall n' stall type action. That's the worst and if I was ref I'd break that up in 20 seconds nearly every time. They usually let it go on way too long.
 
Actually I'd love that fight. I like the dynamic and the history between the two of them.

Faber would ragoll Conor and utterly molest him on the ground.

yeah you need to be confident, I think its the coaches job to dicatate who he takes on or not because a real fighter should think he can beat up a heavyweight even if he's at 125, and I hope so to dude i'tll be interesting to see if he tries to use leg kicks and body strikes
 
if connor loses again i might wanna see it for bragging rights i guess

Agreed. I can see what you mean about the coaches also. A good point.
It will be indeed. Conor can do it, should be interesting to see how everything turns out.

yeah im surprised more people arent on to this

conor has zero desire to make fw again. its a last resort option at best. he might defend his title if he has no other good options but i see him doing everything possible to avoid the weight cut

the rematch at 170 is a calculated tactic. first of all its a fight that will earn him a LW title shot. if he loses then he loses at 170 and his record at 155 is still 0-0. hes going to sell the sheep on the idea he lost moving up 2 classes and this is a fresh start at 155

its smart and will work because the fans are dumb while the hype machine and his mouth are magical
 
I would watch that over say...Hendo vs Machida 2. A fight nobody but Henderson wanted.

lol none of the above. I respect that Conor is out there getting that money, it's what every fighter should try to do. But as a fighter, he's vastly overrated. It's not salt, it's called being objective. Since your sherdog name is named after him I'm pretty sure you're incapable of that. So have fun thinking everyone who isn't some obsessed little fan girl and picks against him is " salty. "
