Worst Successful Restaurants

The only thing I remember about that place is that it made me want to puke.
You know the older I'm getting, a lot of these lower budget burger joints are making me feel like I want to puke

Ill go with Taco Bell. The only thing I can eat more than one of is the taco. Everything is disgusting or makes me feel sick after eating one.

the only place ive been where food trucks > chipotle is in california. In most of the country chipotle is the shit. And I can't explain why, but after eating Mission style burritos (GOAT) for weeks in SF.. I had a craving for Chipotle. There's something about it man.

Portland much?

Nasty ass, most unflavored food I've ever had... Like eating unsalted matter.

Wait - wut? This is one of only two fast food places I will eat at.

L&L is weird. There's really no uniformity between franchises. There are a lot all over SoCal and there seems to be major differences between each one. I've been to some bad ones and I have been to some really good ones. Typically, it comes down to the owner and who they decide to hire as their cooks. Each one also has different menus. They'll all have the standard menu but other additions seem to be at the franchise owner's discretion.

I only eat at two: The one on Kearney in SF and the one on El Camino Real in Palo Alto. Both were run by Hawaiians. The latter is now run by chinese and is quite a bit greasier.

Steak n Shake gets my vote. Something about eating inside a Steak 'n Shake that grosses me. The food is ok but it's just something about the service & just overall vibe of dining inside Steak 'n Shake

Applebee's

My god that place is garbage. I hate corporate restaurants for the most part

I feel like the quality started going downhill when they transitioned from actual restaurants to essentially a pick up window/delivery service. The salad bar was the shit.

There still are a few that still have the salad bars and that interior. I ate at one last week in Barstow. The pizza was great served in a cast iron pan. Miles away from what they deliver

I'll say Arby's. I've never heard a single person say "hey, anyone up for Arby's?" Also, I've never liked Burger King.

Being from Canada there's a few places I've never tried. Chic-fil-A, Carl's Jr, Chillis, White Castle.
