He takes a career changing / life changing beating for 5 rounds, which is very likely. And also because Max is so god damn tough he will take even more of a beating probably.

We've seen guys take furocious lenghty beatings and never be the same in the octagon afterwards.

The great FW run Holloway might've been on his way to achieving may never happen after this.

Who knows, maybe he wins, or maybe he gets crushed for 25 minutes and it takes something out of him which we've seen happen in the past, or maybe it doesn't matter.

Do you think it's a possibilty that this fight may screw up the longevity of Holloways FW run as champ?

Hopefully he's making good money on this fight. If he's making 4-5 times what he normally makes (or more) then maybe its worth it. Lots of upside if he wins somehow also.

Hopefully max gets the quick k.o..

Can keep it standing and pick 711 employee apart

Win or lose he gains a huge amount of respect. He can say he's stepped in on short notice to fight the most feared man in MMA.

Hope it's a good fight.

This will be the greatest moment of his life or possibly the biggest mistake he ever made. Max is on a 12 fight streak. The UFC record is 16, held by Anderson Silva. To see him stopped short here just to take a 6 day fight with Khabib in a weight division up is likely a bad decision by Max.

That or the greatest thing he ever did.

Worst case scenario is that Max injures his already injured ankle even worse and is out for a year, and then the Featherweight division is all kinds of fucked up
- and we won't get to see Holloway vs Ortega for a long long time.

If he can make it to the fight, have Buffer announcing his name in the Octagon, get through the fight without being dead or irreparably injured, he benefits in a big way. Any conceivable outcome, outside of those, is a pretty damned good scenario for Holloway all things considered.

AKA "the Barboza scenario".

Worst probable scenario: He gets beat worse than Barboza over 3-4 rounds, it mentally fucks him, and it visibly affects him during the Ortega fight.

Best possible losing scenario: Khabib subs him within 1 round without breaking a limb while yelling at Conor/Dana in the crowd ala the Michael Johnson fight

There are no other scenarios, sorry

Worst case he gets son'd, beta'd and cucked, not necessarily in that order

gotta take risks if you wanna be the best. sure, worst case and the likely case is he get's smashed for 15 minutes or more but best case scenario he becomes double champ and establishes his place among the greatest ever at the age of 26

Literally the definition of risk vs reward.

Totally worth it.

If Max is able to win a couple of rounds or even one that is a victory in of itself and can be used as leverage if he decides to try 155 again and face Khabib again.

Worse case is to lose in lopsided fashion then come back later and lose to Ortega.

The reward is greater than the risk IMO. If he loses, it's fine cuz he was supposed to lose. But if he wins he's a legend. Worth it even with the risk of losing his win streak.
