Worst performance by a champion

I'll go with Werdum.

How many times he got hurt attempting that goofy blitz ? he starts running at his opponents and eats bombs EVERYTIME he does that shit.

Rockhold was pretty bad but got beaten on technique (with a helping of complacency).

Alvarez showed heart but was outclassed.

Tate showed heart but got blitzed.

Werdum for me. Just a brainless performance.

definitely rockhold and werdum, in this order

The answer is, and always will be, Carla Esparza

Although Alvarez did a pretty good job against Conor

Rockhold got caught while underestimating Bisping, Werdum rushed into fists, like an idiot.

Werdum obviously.

kevin nash vs hogan but in seriousness ronda looked foolish after holm at least eddie spoke after his loss

First i'd like to say there's a difference between having a bad performance and being completely outclassed.

As far as outclassed goes:

Ronda vs Holm is my vote for all time

Never seen a champion so humiliated in the ring for 7 minutes

Anyone can get ko'd, but to get completely schooled and embarrassed and made to look like a complete amateur, especially after the greatness that had been heaped upon her, was incredible to watch

This.

But only coming second to Shogun vs Jones.

Shogun was the king, especially after KOing Machida immediately after that (arguable) decision loss to Machida. Then Jones comes and completely wrecks him from start to finish. That was brutal to watch. Remember, that's the Jones that prior to that, only had scalps from Bader and Vera.

As far as bad performance, i'd say Silva vs Weidman (i still think Silva beats him 9/10, unless freak injuries come or he starts clowning around).

Anderson Franklin was pretty rough for Franklin. I think at the time Franklin might have been at the top of Sherdog's pound for pound list.

My boy Shogun when derailed by Jones
Alvarez looked like a hack job against Conor
Robbie standing still for Woodley
Barao becoming a human punching bag for two fights vs TJ
Franklin getting owned after he said he was the best at 185
Brock turtling up against Cain
