Didn't ready any responses, but hopefully they pointed out that Stipe is a heavy handed, light footed, complete martial artist and proved finally that he deserves every bit of praise he gets (which hasn't been a whole lot).

Arlovski 3 (which wasn't all his fault) and Monson fight. Which other of Timmy's HW title fights were boring? Hell, the AA 3rd fight wasn't even "boring", both fighters were just being extra cautious.

People like to shit on Timmy, but, prior to those bouts, he literally finished (or got finished) in about 9.5/10 fights. He still is the best HW champion in UFC history based on actual title defenses. Lol.

He got popped for PED after the fight with Gan. He went on to have several KO's (including AA to win the title back) after.

Again, Tim Sylvia is the ONLY HW in the last 10-12 years of the UFC that defended the belt more than 1x. Aka, on paper, he is still the best UFC HW Champ.
