Dang, this really put me in my place. I never thought that someone who voted one of the most successful comedians of all time as the worst comedian would be able to come up with such well reasoned and thought out reply.

Rogan is another guy who doesn't belong in the comedians discussion. He's mostly well known for the UFC and Fear Factors. The majority of the population doesn't even know who he is.

Not sure I agree. Rogan has been doing standup for over three decades; before News Radio, UFC, podcast, etc. It's not what he's best-known for, and he is a Renaissance man, of sorts. But I'd wager if you ask Rogan himself, he'd tell you he considers himself a standup comedian, first and foremost.

Put another way...without his standup career, there likely would've been no News Radio, UFC, Fear Factor, etc. It was the springboard for basically his entire career.

I agree with all but Lewis Black. He has some good stuff, I caught it on the AM comedy station where I live. They play a bunch of comedians.

I think Carlos Mencia is not funny. Hannah Gadsby sucks dick. I also think Chapelle is unfunny when he goes on his social commentary rants (otherwise I usually really like his stuff). I watch stand up comedy to laugh, not to be a vessel in which someone can pour their enlightenment.
