it might sound strange, but i don't like having any kind of music on when i'm working out. i want complete silence. and i like being alone. i don't know how someone can work out with someone else. it disturbs my concentration.
I listen to a lot of uplifting and hard trance when i work out. I find the BPM perfect for jumping rope or running. I highly recommend Digital Nature if you want a good place to start if you're not familiar with uplifting trance.
