I wouldnt say Almeida is overrated or anything. It wasnt his night. When they both stepped to octagon, they both had equal chances to make something happen. Gabrandt made a best use of this opportunity and there he is. Victorious.

I was skeptical. I won't go as far as saying "I knew" but if you look at his record his best win was against a used up Brad Pickett. He had never beaten anyone inside the top 15 and many of his wins were against guys with terrible records.

I posted similar thoughts in the past couple weeks. Almeida has alot of guys on his record that have losing records and less than 3-4 pro fights.

He is still talented and he will come back better because of it. Will be good for him to be rid of his false overconfidence.

I'll always enjoy watching Almeida fight.
