Wonderboys pay is shocking

I think he makes more than what people think. Stop it. He's headlined many times including ppv events. He gets paid.

I believe it. UFC fighter pay is a joke. I’d bet even pool players make more lol

That is criminal, at this point he deserves something in the 100 - 200K range. Higher for the top ranked opponents.

Poor wonderboy. He's so nice he'd prob accept it if Dana just gave him 500 dollars after a fight and said "you did good kid, keep it up"

I am wondering if his image as a point fighter has hurt his marketability too much. I am inclined to say it's a bad sign for a fighter in a weight class that's usually highly marketable who recently contended for a title should be clearing way more than that. Maybe his lack of sports entertainment style personality and the way he doesn't seem urgent to put guys away is making it more challenging to turn him into a major draw.

Karateka fight for honor, not money and bitches.

Show me a picture of Wonderboy in a fancy car or next to an attractive woman - u can't.
R8GT. one of 90 imported.

Possible that Thompson's nice guy personality makes him/his team easier to bully at the negotiating table. But I wouldn't be surprised if he made more than this.

You never give points to contenders if you don't have to. (not real draws)

TJ / Wboy didn't get shit is my bet. Just the 3 champs default stock share and the draw GSP custom points most likely.

TJ in interwiev with him& bisping responded to medias something like: "I think it will be my biggest payday, depends on PPVs" so i guess he had it

Of course (Diaz)
It is a pretty known fact
He had tax issues so UFC gave him most money upfront
What's up Frankie?

I only say 'pretty sure' since I couldn't be arsed to secured any supporting facts or sources.

I have been following this whole mess of darren till missing weight closely. I hear that Stephen will receive 30 percent of Darren’s fight purse.

This got my wondering what does this really mean? Is this money worth it for wonderboy?
It turns out that i really don’t know the answer to that.
Every little helps I guess. the guy is getting paid fucking peanuts.

Wonderboys disclosed pay structure is disgusting imo.
The guy is one of the very top guys, former title challenger.

Take a look at this :

In wonderboys last fight against masvidal he only earned 29k/ 29k plus 10k reebok. Am I missing something here?

According to that very same source till earned 16k/16k against cerrone.

Does the 30 percent mean total including tills show and win ( if he wins)?

If this is only show then that only amounts to $4800. Is that really
worth it ?
Thompson stands to make an extra 4800 to fight a guy much heavier and could risk messing up his career with a devasting loss
More than Sage Northcutt. Sage was such a fucking waste of money. Wonder boy fought for the title twice and is an exciting striker. How did Sage negotiate such a better pay package?

PS: Sage pay was $60,000 last year so he might be on more.

ouch. hopefully he has a job lined up for after mma

Bum "sport." Not counting bonuses I make more than him and I don't get hurt for a living.

Bellator will pay him more and he can be knocking guys out over there until they set up a fight with Rory for the belt.

Gotcha
Just backing you up ;)

Amazing that so many still think AC reports are accurate, but ...............

I think his fights make it more difficult for him to negotiate

Works up to 30k Reebok pay, and then they scale it back to 10k. Then for FN Liverpool, no Reebok $ at all? What scumbags.
