Does it make sense for him to move up to 185? Seems like no one has a case for a title shot at MW except Romero who Whittaker already beat. He isn't getting a title shot at WW until Woodley loses the belt. He already has a win over Whittaker, the fight sells itself. Seems like the easiest path to a world title.

I like watching wonderboy, I'll watch him at any weight but there's a lot of grapplers at MW....big grapplers

Jacare/Luke/Weidman/Yoel is a killers row for Wonderboy. None of these men have to stand with him and if they do, they all have the striking to flash K.O him

WW is more stacked than MW, but Wonderboy looks too small for MW.
Also, Weidman is there and they are brothers in law.

It makes a lot of sense. He is too big for WW, MW is his natural class. Would love to see him vs Whittaker one day

Imo he is too small but he would have a huge speed advantage.

Yeah, Wonderboy would be small compared to the LHW size you find at the top of MW. He would have to bulk up, and as he said himself it probably wouldn't be conducive to his style.

He is still a top guy at WW. He only lost one extremely close fight by decision for the championship. It isn't like he looked past it after, as he dominated Masvidal in his next fight. I see no reason why he should move up when he is the first guy who should get a title shot if Woodley loses(which is likely to happen soon), and may even be able to earn another fight against Woodley if TW continues to defend successfully.

The only way I could see him moving up is if he wins the belt at WW and defends it a few times. In a situation where that happens and Robert is still the champ at 185, it might make sense to have a rematch.

That's true but he'd almost certainly be first in line to fight the champion, who is not a grappler. If his goal is to be champ it seems like MW is the better choice right now.

No, he's not that big and guys like jacare and Romero would run right through him on the ground. Also he probably wouldn't anyway cause weidman is there and they are related somehow and are friends
