Your premise is wrong. "weaker" is relative. While he was better than others, nobody considered Hughes, Kos or Fitch 'weak' wrestlers, nobody considered Alves, BJ, or Condit 'weak' strikers. GSP beat people at their strengths.

What so you mean by "just takedowns and gnp"? To say "just" is to try and devalue his talent. What's missing from the equation?

People forget how explosive GSP was pre knee surgury . He was taking down other explosive D1 wrestlers like koscheck when he was in his prime. His timing on takedowns has not never been replicated in my opinion.
