Wonderboy VS Lawler Thoughts?

Assuming Lawler beats Woodley, who do you have winning a Title fight between Lawler and Wonderboy and why?
 
Robbie is old, slow and his chin will be gone, all he has is power. Wonderboy will pick him apart.

Assuming Lawler beats Woodley, Lawler beats Woodley, because that's the premise of the question.
 
Wonderboy has the tools to beat Lawler, but he better keep that damn CHIN down in exchanges with him.

Saw him stick that chin up a couple of times in the pocket with Rory tonight, He can't make that error against Robbie.
 
Wonderboy wins. Rory had nothing for him. Wonderboy has the best striking and we saw how much his wrestling improved. WB owned rory's TD attempts and ended on top positions more than once. That's the new champion right there.

Wonderboy destroys Lawler. Robbie is a brawler who relies on heart. Wonderboy is too technical.

Please take Tyron Woodley's undeserving ass out and put Wonderboy in there, thanks UFC.
 
If Robbie beats Woodley, we will see. I favor Robbie by not letting Wonderboy get comfortable and walking him down that said, I can see Wonderboy having his moments.

I agree Wonderboy is much more skillful and should win but he just looked very uneasy every time Macdonald occasionally caught him with a competent shot and he did get dropped by Ellenberger, if his chin holds up against Lawler which is no easy task then he should definitely become champion.
 
Wonderboy for sure. I LOVE Robbie but I think his reign ends if he fights Wonderboy

Somewhere between Wonderboy/MacDonald and Wonderboy/Hendricks.

I mean, shit... Robbie's not some fast rangy guy with a huge arsenal. Never has been. He has insane power, a granite jaw, and very educated hands, but not that much else. Rory outpointed him for most of the second fight and nearly finished him with head kicks on like two occasions, and Condit outpointed him all night with leg kicks and lunging strikes. I can't really see a fight playing out where Thompson doesn't land at least as much as they did on Lawler.

Meanwhile, how is Robbie gonna get around that stance? Fuck man. We just saw it. Can't close the distance, he'll land a combo and move. Can't cut him off, he'll fire that side kick into your ribs. Fuck you gonna do? If you're a legit grappling phenom like St. Pierre you might take him down... But can Lawler do that? Not likely fam.
