Can't stand Leon Scott and hope he gets stomped, but you Khamzat fanboys are getting more delusional that Francis fanboys.
He was robbed vs twood 2xI like wonderboy but he has one semi-relevant win in like five years. If he were to beat Khamzat it would do more for his career than any other fight he won. Winner of Khamzat/Edwards arguably gets a title shot. Winner of Wonderboy/Neal gets to open the card for that event.
He’s got the gsp genuine nice guy personality. Def has the look of being a movie star like some rookie cop on his first dayStephen Thompson is p4p best looking guy in UFC since Lyoto Machida left
To be fair Zabit has done quite a lot of ducking himself. And Khamzat is not ducking anyone, that's absolutely ridiculous.

Not being interested in fighting an unranked talent as a legend, is not ducking. Ducking is what Khamzat does with Magny, or Yair with Zabit. Ducking is when you can get a fight that makes sense, but come up with excuses multiple times.
There are a bunch of names in the top 10 calli g him out, but he's choosing to avoid fighting to sit out and wait for Leon.
The entire appeal of Khamzat is his crazy activity of fight anyone anytime, but once he starts fighting actual contenders his tone changes real quick.
Let's not forget, so far CM Punk has faced tougher match up's than Khamzat has.
How do you know it's not the UFC telling him to stand by? UFC is looking at this from a business perspective, they know he's their new cash cow. Why book him in a fight that wouldn't mean anything and risk him losing? They will give him a title shot right away if he wins against Leon. As good as Usman is, he's not exactly the most exciting fighter in and out the cage. It's pretty obvious they want him replaced, why do you think they changed Leon's ranking?
A fighter with no wikipedia page and Mickey Gall are tougher matchups? You can't be serious. Also it's not all about matchups anyways, the fashion in which he proceeded to destroy his competition in his last three UFC fights (and all the previous ones) speaks volume. Yes he is untested against top ranked guys but so was Jones when he first started in the UFC. People were saying the same thing about him and thought that Shogun was gonna destroy him...
Wrong. When Mickey Gall fought CM punk he was 2-0 against nobodies. Also there are other fight organisations outside the UFC and Khamzat happened to beat a world sambo champion pretty convincingly (he knocked him out).Mickey Gall who CM Punk first fought is better than anyone Khamzat fought in the UFC, it's not even debatable.
1. My entire point is that Khamzat is marketed as someone who will fight every month against anyone if he could, and that once he's fighting *legit* contenders, that goes out the window, he's not that guy that they are selling him to be.
2.We don't know what goes on behind the scenes, we are concluding it from his social media, where he shows no interest in fighting anyone but Leon, and is *happily* sitting out to wait for him.
3. I agree Khamzat has become a gimmick that the UFC can sell, and they want to protect that gimmick to gullible fans like yourself. In reality Khamzat is just like every other fighter, who picks the best fights for himself and then shelves himself until he gets it.
