Unpopular opinion: Wonderboy should go to ONE. He would be champ; and I think his wholesome demeanor would be a popular in ONE. (Supposedly) ONE is more about respecting traditional martial arts disciplines, and Wonderboy is the embodiment of that.

colby has relentless pressure and cardio. He may get tagged up, but Wonderboy puts himself against the cage way to much. Geoff Neal is a striker with little wrestling, Colby would put WB on his back over and over as needed.

just look over his hand picked resume. Dude only fights strikers outside of a washed Hendricks who was nothing once USADA came into play. Why do you think he went backwards against Geoff Neal instead of fighting Khamzat? Khamzat would of thrown that man to the mat and strangled him.

That was sarcasm. Nobody takes Wonderboy down. He is hard to take down or even get him pinned against the fence to get a takedown because of his stance.

All I’ve taken from this thread is that Wonderboy vs Colby is a fascinating matchup. My heart says Wonderboy but my head says Colby.

Although I’m sure the WWE fans here would rather have Masvidal vs Colby because “think of the trash talk bro!!!”

Colby would not only wrassle plook him...Colby would straight up win the stand up exchanges too because his takedown threat would keep wonderboy guessing. Go look at wonderboys fights with Tyrone Woolley. Tyrone won the kickboxing exchanges because the takedown threat set up his strikes. Wonderboy came close to being KTFOed on the feet by Tyrone.... and Colby dominated Tyrone.

Colby >Tyrone > wonderboy

colby beats wonderboy in both the striking and grappling exchanges. Wonderboy would only be favored to win a pure kick boxing match... n even then, colbys superior cardio might overwhelm wonderboy.

Just compare their fights against RDA as a parameter, and you'll see how much better of a grappler Usman is.

I went back and watched their fights against RDA back to back, and it doesn't really validate what you're saying about Usman compared to Colby. Usman landed 12 take downs, Colby landed 7. Colby dominated the fight by holding him against the cage, Usman dominated the fight by holding him on the ground. Colby took more damage from RDA on the feet, Usman took more damage sitting in guard. No evidence of Usman being a better cage cutter or clinch fighter, no evidence of a higher fight IQ either. The stats also don't seem to agree with you,

Colby has the better TD accuracy and average. One thing I gotta give to you, it does seem that Usman is the better striker of the two. One thing to consider if all of this isn't convicing; if everything you're saying is true, why was their fight against each other so close?
