Bisping did what Chael could never do and that's win UFC gold.
 
depends what kind of shape Georges comes in at. Anyway, this fight isn't happening but fun to talk about over beers I guess...
 
chael did say he did some light sparring/training with gsp. his quotes were "it was a good day if your a Gsp fan."..."man, when that guy left i felt like .....i gotta get my hands on him again"


not sure if that means anything but ill take GSp here. bisping is a really bad match up for him though
 
close to even money fight, id say - the bisping fight is like a lottery ticket - get paid for a title fight and have the best chance ever to tell people you were once champion of the world - GSP would prob urinate in his pants at the thought of fighting someone like rockhold or weidman - bisping manned up and did what was considered the impossible, props to him for even taking the fight - no one was picking him to win for good reason

No way he's stopping the takedown. No way he's stopping the top control. (See Bisping vs Chael or Bisping vs Kennedy as a reference point.)

Gsp was already slowing down when he fought Condit & johny. Now 3 years have passed, he's had another knee injury, & drug testing is stricter. I think him & Bisping would be a pretty close fight. I would slightly favor Bisping.

Chael took him down 5 times. He tried to take him down 7 times.

So yes, he stopped two of Chael's TD attempts.

The Rashad fight was forever ago, when Rashad was basically a wrestler and all you had to worry about was his TDs.

And he still lost the fight.

And you ask if I'M new.

You gotta come harder than that, son. Those are literally the worst examples you could have chosen.
