After he wins his next fight, there is literately nothing left for him at 125. I'm hoping the UFC folds that division all together..

That wouldn't be a bad idea, it's just MM who's been there for years and as good as he is, he doesn't move the needle no matter how well he has done.

Fights against known 135ers will draw more interest. At least from my prospective.

Fair enough, I guess he's willing to fight at less than 100% if it's for the title, but not another fight, as the risk outweighs the reward. Don't agree though, even as a TJ fan.

I just think Tj needs 1 good outing and he's right back to the title, waiting for a title shot might not be a good idea at the moment. Either way Tj is still at the top.

Waiting for a title shot never seems to work out. He'll wait, get injured and be out for an extended time. Others like Sterling will pass him up. That being said I hope he stays healthy!

That's exactly what happened to Rashad when he was waiting for the Shogun title shot. Injured and had to fight his way back against some killers.

Yep that's who I was thinking of. I know every fighter wants to be champ but you are only in your prime for so long. You only have so many pay days. Not everyone is going to get the Hughes and Liddell treatment by the UFC and get a made up job. If you are healthy, go collect a paycheck ! That being said, it's TJ's career not mine.

TJ deserves the rematch over Faber so much, it's actually pretty silly.

I agree that Faber doesn't deserve the shot, but the immediate rematches need to stop. You don't need to beat the champ twice to be the champ.

Kyoji rematch because the first one was premature. Also, Scoggins looked amazing in his last fight. Mighty mouse will always have new challenges.

I say it depends on how close the fight was and how interesting the next fight in the division is. In this case I would have been fine with TJ getting the rematch.

I'd heard that the Assuncao fight was being set up, but TJ couldn't make it in time for the planned date, so the reason he has no opponent yet is probably him not being completely healthy and fit.

The only time that I think it's ok is in the case of a draw or a highly contentious decision i.e. machida/shogun, gsp/Hendricks, or lawler/condit

I don't think just being competitive is good enough.

He is kinda dumb for spamming head kicks and ignoring leg kicks. He landed one good leg kick and I though Cruz was going to be disabled.
