How did any y'all think he was gay?
generally when a man has never been seen with a woman in 40 years of life it’s a safe guess

Well it seems Stephen Thompson wasn’t gay after all ! Here he is posing with his new girlfriend: what a lucky man !

Someone should shoop her face on Weidman or vice versa with Weidmans face on her.

A picture on IG doesn’t mean anything.
It can be a friend or for some social media stuff.
what a nice ass... He must work outWell it seems Stephen Thompson wasn’t gay after all ! Here he is posing with his new girlfriend: what a lucky man !
Dear god, the internet. Who cares if you're convinced? Some gay people still haven't come out publicly and date the opposite sex in order to maintain their image, so I am still not convinced.
Surprised he wasnt married already. Congrats nonetheless. Good for him.

Why do people have to say “not that anything wrong with it” to me that means they definitely thought there was something wrong with it
Shut the fuck upBecause it's 2022 and people get butt hurt or look for reasons to be upset over nothing. If he didn't put that there would be at least one person in the comments virtue signaling.

The line goes on to be repeated multiple times in the episode.
Edit* For context, a school reporter wants to interview Jerry, but first she goes about eavesdropping on him in a restaurant. They, knowing someone is prying but not aware who she is, pretend to be gay to bother her, but when she goes to interview them under the impression that they're gay, they don't recognize her and accidentally seem to elude they are. The rest of the episode is about both trying to deny they're gay while simultaneously not appear homophobic.
The episode was applauded and awarded by the gay community. No one's offended, or virtual signaling as Qwerty suggested.
It's south Carolina. He's doing the best he canHe could do better
98% of the time people say that and ONLY that in this specific context, they are either referencing the episode directly or indirectly by referencing the extremely popular internet meme of just saying that same thing in this exact context, regardless of whether or not they're aware of the source.Yeah because everyone that has ever said that is referencing Seinfeld. He asked why people say it, and a lot of the times it is so they do not offend anyone. People get offended easily these days.
