I'm not really sure if he cares. I think he enjoys the media fighting him on petty issues like going out to dinner without telling them first or crowd sizes. I think he is guessing that in the long run their credibility will suffer for it more than his will. We'll see.

Confessional leaders. Sometimes autocorrect is pretty funny.

I find it easy to believe that a man who puts his name on everything from steaks to casinos would be vain enough to care about something unimportant like crowd size. I don't pretend to be some sort of Trump expert. But he does seem to be crazy like a fox. He gets into a lot of these tiffs with the media and the media always have this take away that he is thin-skinned, untrustworthy, etc. I think a lot of viewers take away the notion that many media figures are thin-skinned and untrustworthy.

It reminds me a bit of Obama and his handling of his birth certificate. He could have cleared it up in an instant, but he let that issue hang for years because it allowed so much opportunity for his opponents to beclown themselves.
