Very unfortunate for her just when she has been able to get a date for her hearing against Conor after several years. IIRC she had her car set on fire before also, must be some real issues with crime in that part of Dublin.

Irish Mail on Sunday Article

A woman who is taking a personal damages claim against mixed martial arts fighter Conor McGregor was subjected to a terrifying burglary when masked men broke into her home in recent days, the Irish Mail on Sunday has learned.

The woman, who was in the house with her partner and child, was ‘distraught’ after the incident at her Dublin home, which took place in the early hours of Friday morning, a source said.

It is understood that three men wearing balaclavas broke into her home in Drimnagh on Dublin’s southside at around 2.20 am on Friday.

The men made their way upstairs where the woman’s partner met them at the bedroom door.

They shouted ‘Where’s the money?’ before the man, aged in his 30s, was pushed backwards and punched in the face.

The woman’s partner somehow managed to fight the men back down the stairs but received a stab wound to his stomach in the process.

Some windows in the house were also smashed during the shocking incident.

A source told the MoS: ‘The poor woman is distraught. She hurt herself knocking on the windows and shouting for help. The gardaí have taken over the house and told her not to go back there.’

Asked about an incident in Drimnagh on Friday morning, a Garda spokeswoman said: ‘Gardaí received report of an incident of aggravated burglary that occurred at a premises in Drimnagh, Dublin 12 at approximately 2.20am this morning, Friday, June 14.

‘One managed in his 30s has been conveyed to St James’s Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries sustained as a result of this incident.

'Investigations are ongoing at this time,’ the Garda spokeswoman added.

There is no suggestion the attack is connected to the woman’s case against Mr McGregor. That hearing is currently scheduled to begin in November and is expected to last two weeks.

The actions were filed in the High Court over three years ago, but no details of the woman’s claim have been aired in open court.

The MMA fighter has strongly denied all the allegations against him. Late last month the High Court fixed the hearing of the damages claim against him to a date in November.

Lawyers for Mr McGregor had sought to have the case put back to November because he was due to fight Michael Chandler in the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) on June 29.

However, on Friday it was announced that Mr McGregor’s comeback fight was cancelled just two weeks before it was due to take place in Las Vegas. UFC chief executive Dana White said Mr McGregor has ‘an injury’. No further details were given.

Mr McGregor, who has 22 wins and six defeats, has not competed in UFC since July 2021, when he sustained a broken leg in a fight against American Dustin Poirier.

Contacted this weekend, the solicitor for the woman, David Coleman, said: ‘I absolutely can’t comment as there is a case before the courts.’

A request for a comment from Mr McGregor was not responded to yesterday by his representatives.

Thinking a scumbag follow-up move...probably told her she'd be sorry.

reports on recent crime surge in Ireland.

Go on... who did it? No description of the attackers for the police report?
where did you get the trump chain necklace from? I searched on ebay and could not find anything like that.

What is the personal damages case about? I've lost track of all the Conor drama
