Kind of weird to title the thread "Bangers" and then TS lists fights like Jedrzejczyk vs. Penne / Rousey vs. Holm / Shev / Grasso 2.

JJ beat the piss out of Penne, broke her whole shit with little resistance. Holm put a kickboxing/anti-grappling clinic on Rousey and head-kicked her into oblivion. Shev basically just took down and controlled Grasso for 90% of the fight (pieced her up for the first minute or two and then realized she could just get takedown entries unchallenged so went that route).

Amanda sparked Cyborg in the first round after the first real pocket exchange - it's a crazy highlight reel finish, but when I think of "Best Fights/Bangers" there needs to be back and forth mauling/momentum swings or else it's just a shit-kicking.

All very entertaining fights though - I just don't think there should be titled "WMMA Bangers" to be a nit-picking asshole that I am.

"Banger" has always referred to a brawl i.e. two fighters going back-and-forth beating the shit out of each other (it can still have a finish, but needs to have both fighters putting a beating on each other) - it's never referred to one-sided shellackings (JJ/Penne or Ronda/Holly), lighting quick finishes (Nunes/Cyborg), or paint-drying lay-and-pray decisions (Shev vs. Grasso 2).

i remember this. Norma may not finish fights generally but she has some power and accuracy.
and Aldana has a fuckin CHIN. she's taken tons of damage in a lot of fights and never been finished in the UFC either. goddamn you can practically see her skull that cut is so bad

on topic of the thread, Amanda Ribas vs Luana Pinheiro was a pretty good banger. Luana took the first round easy but Ribas came back in the 2nd and in the 3rd she wheel kicked her and finished her off with punches
