IMG Academy
is a preparatoryboarding school and sport training destination in Bradenton, Florida, United States. The boarding school offers an integrated academic and athletic college preparatory experience across eight sports – baseball, basketball, football, golf, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, and track & field and cross country. IMG Academy offers camp programs on a year-round basis, serves as a training and competition venue for amateur, collegiate, and professional teams, adults and families, and a host site for a variety of events.

I forgot about that place. Didn't make the connection. Yeah they should.

Sadly I think there are more money exposure and fame to be made in
baseball, basketball, football, golf, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, and track & field and cross country.
than in wrestling.

Preface: I lived near there, and I worked at a golf course where they would bring their students from the IMG academy to come and play.

While this thread sounds good in theory, it won't work.

You haven't seen the kids who (can afford to) go there. They're all spoiled beyond measure, they have all the most expensive equipment, they have their own diamond black credit cards, etc. However, they're not really cranking out tour players left and right.

These kids have no heart whatsoever. Most of the students there don't want to be there, they don't even like sports. They are there because their wealthy parents are trying to buy a professional athlete for a child.

It's a money making operation, and I can tell you firsthand, they have a nearly unlimited budget because of how much it costs for each kid to go there. When you look at the talent pool that can actually afford to go there it's pretty tiny. Keep in mind most of the kids don't want to be there which creates a toxic environment for the few that do.

Just my two cents..
