You guys probably already seen the fights, you savvy stream users. But WLF has its own youtube channel and uploads them expediently. Firstly i would like to make an apology, to WLF fans mostly spinningshiz. A mistake that I end up doing, only in WLF, is judging them harshly. They get a lot of flack for the things they do, but we shouldnt focus on that much, so sorry for enticing WLF/SANDA/SANSHOU hate. We should focus on their fights, though.
The first fight is a thai vs a super saiyan. I am glad to see that there is a Kickboxing style that emphasizes movement (SANDA/SANSHOU). The WLF ring is big, so why wont they use it? Super saiyan had utilized it, but wasn't good at it. Through out the whole match the thai guy was actually dominating. He mixed it up well Kicks and Punches, thankfully, no clinches. The thai guy seems to either have a natural use of hands in a fight or has a boxing background, a good one. Whatever the case, you need that against a fundamentally superior fighting style that uses movement, speed, and flurries like Sanshou/Sanda. The thai guy displayed head movment, he did get hit at the end of round three. The thai guy had a high percentage of landing his straight left, but he also kicked too, leaving a bruise on the super saiyan guys ribs. Needless to say, the super saiyan guy was outmatched, clearly had no experience against southpaws, and punch/box savvy fighters. Super saiyan guy was probably a beginner. But remember traditional or westernized muay thai fledgings or pros, against a style like sanda/sanshou you need: good head movement, mixing up attacks and more importantly good boxing skillz.
