I’m sure this question has been asked on here before, but i couldn’t find it.

I had a little discussion in my last post about who would win in a fight between Prime Mike Tyson vs prime Wladimir Klitschko

I believe Klitschko wouldn’t be able to keep Tyson at range with his long jab because of Tyson’s lighting fast peek-a-boo style.

Tyson would get in range too fast for Wlad and he’d get hit with that hard left hook a couple of times before eventually staying down.

Wladimir has had trouble with fast guys (look at the Sanders upset)

I don’t think it’s impossible for Wlad to get away with the win though, since his height advantage is so great (look at Wlad vs Haye)

What do you think?

Wlad with Steward in his corner at his peak makes easy work of Tyson. I’ll always take a top 10 all time great who was the best of their era, over someone who is lucky to crack top 15 all time and who was the 3rd best of his era and who suffered this biggest upset in sports history in his prime

Tyson knocks any version of Wlad out within 3 rounds.

Tyson fighting style would destroy that robot you talking about

Wlad is too big and he had access to better technology (recovery etc.)

i dont know ... Tyson in 5 or 9

Tyson would get tied up and worn down, would hesitate coming in and get broken with Wlad’s piston jab and one-two

You never fight against pika boo style, you don't know how hard is to defend yourself

I agree, i love Wlad maybe even more than Tyson, but i don’t see him doing well against Tyson’s style

Wlad was finished by Lamon Brewster and Ross Puritty. Tyson would KTFO him.

Wlad pulls straight back, chin up. He gets clipped.

I'm not even a Tyson stan but that dude puts Wlad in a casket via being a more savage and overall violent individual. Terrible match up for Wlad imo.

The same way he knocked out Tony Tucker within 3 rounds?
More like the same way Sanders ran through Wlad.

You literally cant make a worse matchup for Wlad. Hes so slow and stiff. Tyson is inside and buries him early.

I know it’s fairly easy to hold someone and wrap them up, and Wlad was an expert at it

Yeah but he knew that and wrapped up every single time his opponent got on the inside. See the Povetkin match for example.

Not to mention that Sanders fight wasn’t Prime Klitschko like this thread stated

Tony was a mover, far more fluid than Wlad.

Wladimirs feet separated him from the rest in his era. Plus he had a much better jab than Tucker and was stronger.

Could Tucker have reigned for 10 years if it was him instead of Wladimir from 2005-2015?

You said every version of Wlad. But you can't deny that he made adjustments after his losses and started to pump his jab more. Really didn't hit his peak before he was 30.
