I know, he's 42 years old and will never beat a top 5 fighter, but the fact is that he keeps winning in Bellator. He's 9-2 now in the org, and on a 5 fight win streak. It's a big name that deserves to get paid and promoted IMO, how come the UFC just can't grasp this?

His name and looks alone would draw viewers in a shallow division that people are getting tired of. Make a rematch with Nelson, and I'm sure he would get his hand raised this time around.
 
Reebok cups aren't made of steel, he would severely cripple most of their HW's thus reducing the division even more.
 
It is crazy how he transformed from a pure striker to a pure wrestler.

I actually believe he could LNP quite a bit of the UFC HWs.

He did the opposite of the foolishness that befell many grapplers who thought they were strikers, he embraced Real Fighting (TM). :D
 
Why go back to obscurity in the ufc when he is a big name in bellator? unless the difference in pay is extremely higher.
