Big man. Big appetite.
They both had roots in Mexico but born in the USA and neither can speak Spanish.
Genetic limitations.
I was about to make this thread discussing this issue.
I try explaining and this boy don't get it. Oh well.
The South American Indians are different from the North American Indians. The Mohawks for example are lean and tall. The South American Indians can go for long periods without food so the survivals are the ones who can store a lot of fat when they do get food to get ready for the lean times. They also reflect this in their diet, so you can say it's the cultural thing: the diet is calorie rich.
Trouble is when these people adopt to American diet, there is no lean periods and the food is readily available. Btw, Mexicans in Mexico are pretty lean on the average. The more Indian genes, the more propensity to get fat.
Mexico is now rated above the US for overweight people. That fact makes your post appear to be complete and utter BS.
correct me if im wrong, if you were born in america wouldn't that make you american not mexican?
who cares about "rated"? bullshit. I've lived in Mexico. I've lived in the US. I saw more fat Mexicans in the US than in Mexico.
no such thing
not a geographic thing though. Btw, you can probably read up on it in physical anthropology books (this field of study is now phased out in favor of molecular anthropology, the liberal pressure on science to say "we're all the same".
But the books are out there. They actually have 4-5 groupings of Native Americans. If I remember correctly, one is in Eskimo, one is in Canada, one is in Western America, ect.. and so on.
The group in Brazil is actually different from the group in Mexico.... very detailed study with pictures to back them up.
