I bit the bullet and threw my tax return at a pair of Winnings. Kazumichi's definitely a character and it was great BSing with him.
Below are some side by side comparisons between the Winning and Fighting 16 oz hook & loop sparring gloves. I definitely feel like I went from friendly whore to beautiful housewife and won't want to be inside anyone else again.
While Title may have wanted to play off the Winning image, they're definitely different gloves. Winning feels solid with padding evenly distrbuted, yet don't feel very pillow-ey when I'm moving around. Fighting is more front loaded.
The one edge the Fighting glove has is wrist support, with its thicker cuff. But of course when it comes to hook & loop gloves, I depend on my wraps for the wrist support anyways.

I think you didn't get it right. Buying expensive gear is not mainly health concern(it is, small %) but it is just pure pleasure thing. It is not bad, as you know you are addicted to it.

I think most pros wear Winning purely for the protection, so it is a health concern.
Winning gloves and headgear are known worldwide for their safety. They just happen to also be very comfortable as well.
I bought them based on health concern (protection), as has nearly everyone I know who owns them.
The fact that I really enjoy them is a secondary priority, but no less worth pointing out.
But yes, I am a gear addict. :icon_chee
As an example. I love my Cleto Reyes every bit as much as my Winning gear, even though I know from a protection stand point they aren't as good (although Reyes are still quite protective). I love my Reyes, but I rely on Winning for the long term health of my hands and head. See what I mean?

Gloves look awesome thanks for the review :]. Denno, i've been training pretty hard lately 5 days a week about 3-5 hours a day and wanted to get a good all around glove and thought winnings might be the best bet for me. I weigh 130 pounds and am about 5'9. Would you recommend the 16 oz glove for an overall training glove (bag,mits, sparring) for my size or do you think a 14 oz would be better? I guess i'm training to be an amateur and just want some good protection so i wont get any injuries. Thanks
