I'm actually more interested in the Windy's Heavy Hitter Gloves.

Everything I've heard about Windy gloves has been positive other than the hand compartment being a bit large (and for guys with big hands, that may be a plus). I haven't tried those specific gloves, but Windy is great quality and I don't think you can go wrong with them.

I just got a pair of those Fairtex gloves, and while the glove itself is a bit wide and bulky in the fist area, the hand compartment itself is quite snug and comfortable. Great wrist support too with the long cuff. Really good gloves.

Both are good gloves, but why did you choose the Fairtex?

Compared to the Fairtex Super Sparring, I would much rather get punched with the Windy's...

Given that both gloves are good for sparring, OK maybe the Windys have softer padding if FullContact.com is spot on with his analysis, I'd still go with the Fairtex. Reason being the cuff: the Windys use an elastic cuff which I dislike because I find they wear out after extended usage and you can no longer fasten them as tight as you want. The Fairtex's also have some padding on the wrist, so for Muay Thai sparring it provides added protection against kicks.

Hmm.... after looking more closely at the Windy safety training gloves in that link, I'm not sure anymore that they're elastic cuffed (and the description doesn't mention anything). If they aren't elastic, then scratch my above criticism about the cuff.
