Windows Live Mail problem

My dads mail account is acting fucking weird.

He turned on his computer opened up his email and it started bring back old read messages into his unread folder.

It was over 1000. I killed it through task manager and when I reopened it, it started at the normal amount and then started shooting back up again.

Any ideas how to fix it? Other then Microsoft sucks?

shit, never had issues with it.
but i use it thru a browser, not a client.
maybe kill the profile in the client and recreate it.

Open it in thunderbird and delete whatever. You won't see it in the browser or any other client ever again.
