how will he deal with good footwork? A longer fighter with good distance management? The best boxing he's ever seen?

There's a good chance Khabib eats a lot of solid shots in this fight, win or lose. And whether or not he'll be able to effectively clinch or shoot for takedowns on a fighter who understands the value of range and footwork

This will give us a peek into how he might be able to deal with a striker on Conor's level

Answers about Max incoming also, I think everything is coming down to how succesful Max takedown defence will be and
how he will handle situation where he is taken down by Khabib.
I that goes good enough for Max,fight will look like Whitaker vs Romero.

The only question this fight will answer is how hollaway will look after khabib change his face.

If max is able to land on Khabib cleanly even a few times, you can almost guarantee that conor will immediately accept the fight. That's how I see it anyway.

Is Max a southpaw? To me, that variable is huge. A talented southpaw with angles will tell you if you can touch Conor or not. Nate Diaz did well because of height, chin and cardio, he’s an anomaly in that he absorbs shots but doesn’t become deterred.

I don't believe so but I do believe he's comfortable switching. It's a good point though and that probably won't be addressed in this fight. Either way, he's never seen a striker like max, so I'm happy well at least get some sort of look at how he deals with it.

Michael Johnson is a great southpaw striker

The Edson fight already answered most of those questions.

Great? Lol his boxing is below average for a top fighter. His striking looked absolutely awful in the Khabib fight and still managed to land with it

Edson doesn't have hands anywhere comparable to max imo. Max utilizes movement much better than Edson and his hands are way, way better

Conor will fight that pothead diaz and then look for more easy fights. He not messing with khabib unless its like 20 million pay.

He probably will get that kind of pay, tbh.

Just watched some video and could have sworn his lead hand was is right? That or he was switching. I’ve watched so many fighters I forget what stance they are, at least boxrec tells you that info for boxers.

Just pulled him up and on fight pass and scrolled thru the second aldo fight, he's definitely orthodox. But I do feel pretty certain I've seen him switch at some points as well.

Questions have been answered. Khabib is King.

I doubt this fight will answer anything, it will probably be a walkthrough. a FW who's purely a striker against a large TD machine. it's practically handing khabib the belt.

Max will be pinned against the cage quickly. His only hope is fence grab, then the raping commence.
