Can you ever see Zuffa buying another promotion but keeping it going like they did with WEC? Maybe Invicta and just put all WMMA there, or some smaller ones as feeder promotions?

I'm not even exactly sure what zuffa consists of after the sale? I thought the Ferrtitas kept Zuffa and the Casino business separate.

Yes, but it'll be a franchise and not an org.

No theyve completed their mission when it comes to the world of MMA
They didnt do this for the pure love of the sport, they did it because they saw the potential of what the UFC could grow into and they were right
But now that they've cashed in and turned it over to someone else its on to the next big thing, most likely the NFL and stealing away my beloved Oakland Raiders

There's got to be an anti compete clause in the sale.

Maybe in a while. I am sure the sale included a non-compete cause for at least two years.

That is prolly the most unnecessary non-compete clause ever
Zuffa understands how hard it was to take the UFC from what it was when they bought it to what it is today and thats when they were already established as the #1 promotion in the United States
Now they would have to start up a new group and compete against the monster that they created
They know thats an easy way to lose a lotta money real fuckin fast
    Not gonna happen

Several years ago, White implied on the Carmichael Dave Show that he had intentions to "save boxing."

Do they still own Invicta or that was just the bonus to incentivate the UFC sale?

Yea unfortunately thats where this is headed
Theyve already sat in on the meetings that Mark Davis had with the Las Vegas stadium group and Davis has said before that hes willing to sell a minority percentage of the team to get a stadium so this works out well for everyone but us Bay Area fans
Little Marky gets his stadium, the Fertittas get their entrance into the biggest sports league in America and we get fucked
Im hoping that this Rodney Peete/Ronnie Lott group can somehow magically get a deal done here in Oakland but thats just a dream
There is no NFL ready stadium in Las Vegas so realistically we got 3 years left in Oakland before the stadium in Vegas is ready

With that being said I already got my season tickets for this year and Im damn excited to see us finally get back to our winning ways
This team that Reggie has built is gonna be a fuckin monster

    WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

    CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!!!!!!!!

This. Zuffa still exists though I believe. I think they just sold the UFC, not the holding company. They could, in theory, buy another org.

They made $4b in the sale and definitely signed an iron clad non compete.

$4b is real money. It's definitely enough to buy a nice share of an NFL expansion team and bring them to Vegas.
