For those of you who don't know, Rogan said if the UFC was sold, he's 100% gone. The UFC is rumored to have just accepted a bid of 4.2 billion dollars.

While Rogan was absolutely unbearable during Ronda's reign of terror and at times overvalues leg kicks/has a "bias" towards certain fighters to some people, I REALLY think a lot of you guys will miss him eventually, even if you vote "No."

Much like Dana White, he's an iconic and polarizing figure. You really don't know what you got till it's gone.

He's contributed a lot over the years, but I won't miss him one bit. I actually prefer listening to Goldie nowadays and that's saying a lot.

Yes. He genuinely loves the sport and loses his shit the way fans do. Could you imagine Anik and Goldy, i'd watch with no sound.

No, but I hope Goldberg leaves first.

Of course I will miss him.. he is 10 times better then any other generic dude out there even if he is an ex fighter.

Also they accepted the bid already ? so it's official they sold ?

I'm not a fan but I don't mind him. We shall see if he will stay on. If the new owners don't change much, he might decide to stay.

I can't find a reputable source that confirms the UFC was sold. Anyway, I'm a big fan of his podcast but I find his commentary on fights to be too dramatic for my tastes. Everyone is "world class", a "killer", and every shot is called like it's a fight closer. I didn't know this until I listed to his podcasts but that's just how he describes things. He'll admit that guys in the UFC would get killed in high level boxing or Muay Thai for example, so he's reasonable. But I can't stand it sometimes.

Another example is he would say something like "beautiful technique checking that kick". Dude, that is Muay Thai 101 and there wasn't anything special about it! I'm nitpicking but this is my long answer of no, I won't miss him unless they replace him with someone worse.

Edit: I should admit that he is very good at calling the fight during grappling exchanges. Does a good job explaining to non-grappling people.

I'll miss him. Don't be surprised if he gets some big money thrown his way to stick around, so it may not actually be the end of the Rogan commentary.

UFC will not be the same without him. Nobody gets as amped up and excited as him, and adds that much more craziness and epic reactions to great fights.

People hate him for his podcast antics and occasional blunder- but he represents what every man wants to be in life. The guy literally doesn't give a fuck, can say whatever he wants, speaks his mind and most importantly calls it like it is

Joe is the anti -PC police. Bless hogan

Also @KONE how cool is this.. if you look to the right side of your screen you can see the tweets by sherdog feed and you have freaking Brock Lesnar in a gi no less.

What a wonderful time to be a MMA fan. :D

I'm not going to miss his over the top hype videos on every fight being the most important and world class this and that.

Otherwise I'm ok with Rogan.

I love hating on Joe Rogan...I think all sherdog does.

Keep Rogan but get a third commentator to disagree with rogan.

The EFN 50 guy would be a good 3rd commentator.

Yes. I will explain you why.

He played a pivotal part on how I became a Mixed Martial Arts fan and why I started training. Even though he says some over the top shit and sometimes has bias commentary but he is human after all. We all say dumb shit while watching fights but we don't have a microphone to our mouths. His reactions can alleviate fights and that's because he is a fight fan and you felt it.

R.I.P Mike Goldberg.

Nope, much rather hear Jacky Wu tell perverted jokes while commentating in Chinese.

Somebody already coined the term Boris Rogan.

He's probably dead by Putin's hand for questioning that Fedor fight.

He's annoying but I would miss him. He's an uber fan and has the best job in the world if you're a fan...can't blame him for getting a little crazy.

You would still have his fight companion podcasts...even though they're probably the most annoying thing to listen to. Bryan Callen is unbearable.
