That implies he fought IN the WW division, MEANING against one of the fighters from the division.
He moved up one weight class to his NATURAL weight class except neither guy cut (much) weight. It's not the same thing at all.
Also why the fuck are people talking about an Aldo rematch? Edgar is as clear cut a #1 contender as they come. Not to mention Aldo got knocked dead in 13 seconds.
The RDA fight is done. Conor lost to a 155 contender. The fight being billed at 170 means jack shit

ya goofs

Fight was at 170 bro.

...to allow the fighters not to cut, and maybe fool a few casuals into thinking that Conor was beating a WW.

How are you not getting this?

Pretty much this, but the Conor fantards need SOMETHING/ANYTHING to hang onto, to make themselves feel less vaginal than they already feel.

And yeah, the RDA fights dead, not only because Conor got horse raped by a 155 figher, but because he doesn't want it either.

He does, he's just being facetious, and has nothing else to say, because there is nothing else to say if you're a Conor fan. Just gotta eat shit, and bear it, but some of them just won't. They'll go out on their last dying breath. Sad bunch.

He did move up two weight classes! There's nothing wrong with that!

He was training for a lightweight fight, therefor he moved up one weight class, only to fight a natural lightweight would was fighting on less than 2 weeks notice.

The UFC are gonna go with Aldo because its probably a bigger draw and its an easier fight for Mcgregor - they need to get the cash cow winning again

Well I don't know who those people are who wanna see that fight more. That's beyond ridiculous if true

Yes he may have moved up 2 weight classes. BUT HE FOUGHT A LIGHTWEIGHT REGARDLESS. In my opinion this should end any 170 discussions as well as 155 discussions. At least not before defending at 145 first.

The audacity of anyone to think that Conor could fight Robbie for the "third belt".....that is priceless
Conor would be brought out on a stretcher after one round with lawlor..

"I did not use my energy correctly" = "I gassed"....say the words Conor.

Yeah saying " he moved up two weight classes" is somewhat misleading, since he lost to a LW, not a WW

Diaz was just smart enough to make sure he didn't have to spend those 10 days he had being forced to diet and cut weight like Mendes was

Big deal ... Nate went up two divisions and fought rory markham

Nate fights at 155 the way Conor fights at 145...

They starve and radically dehydrate themselves to compete one division below what would be their body's natural weight class.

Conor looked like he was fighting a giant in there last night. It was the huge height/reach advantage that ultimately gave McGregor all the landing difficulty.

145 is his weight class
155 is one higher
170 is 2 higher.

He fought at 170.

Where does Conor call home? FTW. What class did he fight in last night? WW. He came up 2 w/c's from where he fights. Get a grip.
