HE won again last week...there really is no doubt he's a top 5 Heavyweight in the world. His resume is solid af...

The Heavyweight division is sooo weak i don't understand why more fans don't want to see him fight in the UFC

Will we ever see him in the UFC?

I don't know

Sorry

Friend

Yeah, after he stops ducking his employers and Bellators through with him..he can go run roughshod over the UFC..like Volkan and Volkov

Probably, but not while he's in his prime.

He still has contractual obligations with Bellator and no way they let him out of those obligations so he can sign with the UFC.

Minakov would be a force. Dudes takedowns and subs are wicked. He’s definitely a top 5 HW in the world.

Sure hope so. But feels bad he is wasting good fighting years in Russia.

His level of competition has been pretty weak. His best win is Alexander Volkov, which is impressive but not proof he is Top 5. But I think he would do well on the UFC.

Bellator contracts prevent him from fighting anywhere in North America. They've treated their Russian fighters other than Fedor just horribly. They're more interested in holding cards in Israel filled to the brim with cans. I don't understand why they just don't let Minakov go, so he can fight in the UFC. Minakov even did an interview recently saying he'd like to come to Bellator too, but he's never gotten the call.

Minikov is very overrated and is not top 5 in the world. He is 18-0 or whatever but has wins over cans. His fight with Silva was super suspect considering Silva didn't even fight back.

I sure hope so. It's sad seeing him throwing away his prime fighting scrubs when the UFC HW division is so in need of talent.

Though in all reality, I doubt he wants to deal with USADA.

He has some good wins but, isn't totally dominant and he doesn't look unbeatable. Could be top 5 though very quickly

I thought they finally released him.

I thought he already had, isnt he the tall russian they recently signed?

Horribly? I think only guys who complained are Shlemenko (I think he said something along the lines that he would like Bellator to pay for his lawyer in doping case and he said that he wants to fight 12 times in a year) and Khasbulaev (took them too long to release him after he was blacklisted from travelling to USA). Well I think years ago Koreshkov said that he wants to fight more often and seems that other Russian fighters are pretty much happy with being in Bellator.

People say Minakov hasn't beat anyone lol

imo without question the #2 HW in the world rn behind Miocic

Volkov is like Askren's Lima: every time he does good, it ups Minakov's stock. For sure, to think that the potential baddest man on the planet is very attainable now, is not in the UFC and not asking for half the company, like Fedor reportedly did, then that is pathetic. This is not like Askren, where it may be the best welter, this is the legit possible baddest man on planet earth, maybe even ever, and he is not signed. Pathetic.
