Will UFC 197 be moved back to MSG?

Now that MMA has been legalised in New York I'm curious if they will move 197 to Madison square garden as that was its original venue. It is still several weeks away so they could do it. What do you guys think?

The governor still has to pass the bill and regulations have to be put in place.

They can't hold an event there until the whole governing structure is formed which won't be before August. So expect UFC 201 or 202 to be in NY and no sooner.

I think so. I think the strategy is to wait until it is a week away. Then they're going to announce it and charge $$$$$ for tickets.

Whoever is scheduled to perform there will open for the event inside the octagon.
