Sadly I'd probably favour Islam at this point in Tony's career, was hoping the Justin fight was a one off but he got beat pillar to post by Oliveira too. Book it and give Tony one last chance at a hurrah or it gives Islam the chance to make a name for himself.

yeah no reason for Tony to take this fight at all. He just got dominated twice in a row and Islam is on the rise 7 in a row. There are several other guys on Islams trajectory for him to fight and conversely Tony has some guys on the downward slope like Hooker, Felder, Conor or perhaps the rematch with FKL.

Tony should not be content with gatekeeper fights. He really should be winding it down for retirement because only CTE will come from his style but if he must fight it has to be with guys on his level. UFC rankings are pure dogshit to begin with, Dariush on a 6 fight W streak should essentially be ranked above Tony
