Will this UFC record ever be broken?

Ever, yes. Forever is very long. He entered very early. Got fed to wolves. Then was the wolf for others 10 fights in a row. Then primed and grabbed the belt when Khabib retired.

By the geriatric speed that Bo Nickal is moving up the ranks, I predict a TS by 2027 with 30 UFC fights under his belt

He'll be 30-0 in the UFC by that point, took at slow on purpose to beat Oliveira's record & kept fighting low level opposition like the brothers & cousins of lawnmower man Val Woodburn. <Eek2.0>

Belal Muhammad
Shit maybe but he may not ever get another tilteshot if he loses to Leon. UFC are doing everything they can to not remember his name

He's not even guaranteed yet is he? I can't remember... I assume they want him to get another 4 or 5 ranked wins, if not.

Do Bronx fought in 28 UFC fights before becoming the UFC LW champ.

Do you think that's a record that will ever be broken? He is kind of an anomaly.
it's rare when it happens, and that's more of a reason to appreciate while it is happening.

and I like their plan (to not wait for the belt).

He is an exciting fighter, belt or not belt!

He's had 5 fights in 1.5 years, how is that geriatric speed?

If the roster of the UFC (and the working conditions) were back in 2005 the size it was in 2010, Robbie might have accumulated a whooping 32 UFC fights the second he became a champ.

Remember when Robbie was hyped as the future of UFC?

In a way Werdum is similar.

Werdum obviously started at a higher level with his BJJ, but he was similar in that he didn't have well rounded skills until well into the 30s and had a lot of fights before that. Not nearly that long of a road though.

Chuck is a unique case; you talk about persistence. The difference with him seems to be he just never gave up on getting better and continued to work and improve his game over a long period of time.

It's taking longer to earn title shots anyways. So I'd expect the shortest path to championship to be harder to break.

Anderson Silva only 2 fights is anyone better? Not counting new divisions like FLW or women's

Brock Lesnar is tied with 2, and he lost 1 of them. I think that has to be the record.

Edit: Nvm. Yeah Anderson Silva is it. I thought for a second he had 2 fights before the belt too.

Well Silva won the MW title from Rich Franklin in his 2nd fight so it would take winning it in your debut
