Every other org over the years has gone bust. Pride, Bodog, Affliction, Strikeforce, all gone. Dana makes the decisions at the UFC. I don't think anyone else can do what Dana does. After he's gone, I kind of see the company getting another leader like those companies. And then going under.

Uncle Chael will take over

Dana is part of the brands image at this point. It's definitely not going to be easy to replace a workholic like him.

Shit on him all you want but he gets shit done and he's not afraid of moving forward and not giving a fuck what people think.

I certainly think Dana is the right guy for the job, it’s hard to imagine anyone doing a better job, but he could have a ton of gas in the tank. If he’s stays in this thing long enough he could get the ufc to a level where it would take a moron to ruin it

Nobody can do what Dana does. Danas replacement will destroy UFC. Hopefully Dana stays for another 20 years.

It may thrive. But who knows? Dana, for all the shit people give him, IS a great businessman and understands the MMA game.

This is like declaring a roman emperor an awesome military man because the legion crushed some gauls. Dude is a pedantic goofball mascot and could be replaced by countless hypemen if the universe didn't pachinko ball him into the role. Far easier to find a bro to go "wow sick knockout, dude is for real! here's 50 Gs!" and make up a bunch of lies that are held unaccountable due to a media dictatorship....than say....actually be a world class fighter.

Dana actually loves the sport. With the corporation type WME buying it, they will replace him with a bean counter type guy that will not understand the sport. It will maintain for a little while but I can’t see it operate as good without him. It may stay around due to monopolization they currently have but you never know!

Chael has enough experience to take over when Dana retires. but to be honest even Shelby and Maynard can take over.

Dana may have been the face of the UFC but the business decisions were made by Lorenzo.

Endeavor will bring in a new face when they have to. UFC is a corporate organisation as this point. Its not as if Dana is single handedly running the show.

I suspect White's role will be split up when he's gone. The business aspect will likely be covered by a corporate type, possibly Joe Silva. The "Face of the Promotion" part could be filled by almost any fairly charismatic ex fighter. My personal pick to replace him would be unpopular. Shannon Knapp used to work for the UFC, then left to start her own, all female promotion. She has kept Invicta afloat, against all odds, for years now. Naysayers will point out that Invicta is basically bankrolled by the UFC, to which I reply, "who negotiated that sweetheart deal?" She knows the business, she's passionate, I feel she could definitely handle the business aspect, and handle it well.

Nope. Not true now, wasn't true back in the Zuffa days. Dana is a figurehead, his job is to be the guy idiots point at when their tender sensibilites are upset.

The UFC will immediately be much better off once Dana White retires. He is a relic, and an anchor weighing down the brand.
