Will the new UFC gloves water down the sport and reduce KOs?

There was a thread a few weeks ago that broke it all down with data and facts, there has been a lot more decisions in UFC since the new gloves came in, TKO/KOs were down a lot

Also the entire point why they brought the new gloves in was to stop eyepokes, the new slim fit gloves are supposed to make everyones fingers curl lol, but I'm seeing eyepokes in every UFC event, its exactly the same, not less and not more, its just the same.

They should just get the old UFC gloves back, these new super slim fit ones are not an upgrade, also they are upsetting JBG

HahaLOL!! That thread was shit with data or facts. More WMMA fights and less HW fights overall could easily refute that thread's claims.

...All it would take is independent testing with robotic equipment and a consistent medium for the gloves to punch. That would determine what version of gloves deliver more force and do more damage.

That would be my dream, I really wish that happened, That fights are much more violent and fun with the knees, soccer kicks and we must never lose sight of the fact that this is supposed to be Ultimate Fighting, thats the entire point of the sport.

When someone can put their hand on the mat so you're not allowed to hit them is just pathetic and embarrassing, thats not real fighting is it?, and they don't even have to put their hand down, what most of them are doing is barely touching their fingertips on the mat and you can't hit them!!! absolute madness, its about as far away from real fighting as possible.

Its true a lot of WMMA fights go to decision, but sadly a lot of UFC HW fights are going to decision now, there is barely any KOs in them anymore, if you look in 2024 at UFC HW fights on every single card you will be shocked how many went to decision.
