Yeah flying them in will be the easy part. Paying them into an account that can be used in Russia a whole different thing. However it seems quite a few Russian fighters aren't based in Russia anymore and I assume they have non-russian bank accounts which would be easier.

It's easier to march in the streets in massive crowds and go unnoticed than it is for a Russian celebrity to speak up alone on Twitter.

They will target both.

While i agree the Oligarchs hate to see their accessible wealth go from 10's of Billions down to single digit billions and they will not all be pleased with Putin, it is often the pain put on the average citizen, them hitting the streets in protest, that can break these things.

Putin spent a lot of time, along with his State media trying to paint Ukrainians as evil Nazi's and himself and Russia as liberators, and it seems most in Russia are not buying it.
 
@BFoe I hope we get to see Fedor fight live again, it will be a sad shame if we never get to see him again. I was enjoying so much his constant starching of former UFC champions and previous UFC p4p list contenders

Putin has has something else in mind than Ukraine, he probably wants to speed up the change he sees around the corner between the west and east.

Harsh words but you sincerely have a point here. The fact that banning Russia from the SWIFT payment system is considered one of the hardest sanctions to put on Russia shows how dependent Europe made themselves to Russia. I'm saying this as a Spaniard living in Germany.

EDIT: oh, just to be clear: the Russian people really have not much to do with this. Regarding your comment about "they voted this piece of shit" - trust me, they didn't vote him. He made it look like they vote him. After changing the constitution via Medwedew (a puppet for Putin, since he wasn't allowed another legislature before said change of constitution).

Bruh, I highly doubt the election was fair.

A former KGB spy will resort to murder in order to stand uncontested. The Russians, in general, live in tyranny. The 200 billion net worth of Putin is used to ensure loyalty amongst the military heads and government to squeeze the average citizen out of their fair share of Mother Russia’s resources. Openly talk smack about Putin, and you’ll turn up “Missing.”
